Deputy Mayor of Odesa visited Yokohama City(February 2024)
Mr. Pavlo Vugelman, Deputy Mayor of Odesa, visited Yokohama City on February 16, as part of a JICA project.
In Yokohama, he observed urban development in the Minato Mirai district and visited the Yokohama Minato Museum, where the Anchor Heart, an objet d’art donated by the City of Odesa is on display.
During the meeting with Mr. Shiro, Deputy Mayor of Yokohama City, Mr. Vugelman expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the City of Yokohama and businesses to date, and both parties exchanged views on cooperation for future recovery and reconstruction, and support for Ukrainian citizens who have fled the war and taken refuge in Yokohama.
