Children from Odesa Judo Club Visit Yokohama

（July 18-August 26, 2022）

On July 18^th, children and coaches from the “Europe” judo club from Yokohama’s sister city Odesa displaced from Ukraine came to Yokohama. The members were greeted at Narita International Airport by a group from the International Affairs Bureau, including Director General Hashimoto. The children expressed their relief to be in Japan, how they heard air raid sirens every day in Ukraine, and shared their hopes to keep practicing judo in Yokohama.
