Mayor Yamanaka presents letter of appreciation for donation of mobile water purifiers (June 29)
There is a concern that if water treatment plants were to be attacked by Russian invasion forces, access to a clean running water supply may be disrupted in Yokohama’s sister city of Odesa, Ukraine. To help avert that risk, Yokohama sent 33 mobile water purifiers and related equipment to provide urgent support to Odesa.
This contribution includes 11 mobile water purifiers donated to Yokohama by JFE Engineering Corporation. In response, Mayor Yamanaka presented a letter of appreciation to JFE Engineering Corporation for the donation.
