International Cooperation
The City of Yokohama and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) collaborate to provide 300 used PCs to children in Ukraine. (May 2025)
On May 22, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), together with Nojima Corporation and NPO Wellbeing Center Muku, collected and refurbished 300 used notebook PCs and shipped them to Odesa, Ukraine, sister city of Yokohama.
The computers are scheduled to arrive in July along with 1,165 capsule toys donated by the Great East Japan Earthquake Employment, Education, and Health Support Organization.
Yokohama facilitated and supported collaborations between JICA, Nojima Corporation, Great East Japan Earthquake Employment, Education, and Health Support Organization―both of which are based in Yokohama―and Odesa City.
